After reading  "The Pact"  and  "My Sisters Keeper" (which later became the movie staring Cameron Diaz, Abigail Breslin, Alec Baldwin, Jason Patric, Sofia Vassilieva, Joan Cusack) by Jodi Picoult, my sister and I became fans of her books. My sister has bought and read almost every book she could find.

Last night I started reading  "Plain Truth"

Troy & Claudia's Wedding - 13 March 2010

On Saturday the 13th March 2010, My sister Claudia Barbosa became the wife of an amazing guy, Troy Banks.  Their wedding was beautiful and perfect in every way.  The bride looked gorgeous along with her bridal party (oh yes and the groom looked rather dashing as well).

What a fantastic day we all had, just the family, celebrating such a special day on the Umhloti Beach, South Africa.  It was magnificent.

To end off a beautiful day we had delicious meals with an ocean view reception at a stunning restaurant.  The Best Man, Greg Bank - Troy's older brother, gave a very 

emotional and moving speech in memory of their late father, Alan Banks.  Troy too gave a lovely speech and then proceeded by singing Claudia an incredible song along with his guitar.... The song from the movie "PS. I love you" .... I'LL LOVE YOU TILL THE END  (I get goosebumps every time I think about it).

It was moving, breathtaking and absolutely perfect in every way.

I wish them all the love and happiness for their future.

Kenzo

On Saturday Brandon made the biggest scariest U-Turn on our way to shopping for a wedding gift for one of our friends where he saw these puppies being sold.

We went and had a look and found this little munchkin for his dad.

It's a 10 week old Jack Russel who we've named KENZO!!

He is gorgeous with such a cute little personality who wants to explore everything.

He kept Brandon up all night the other day which was exactly when I decided - NO KIDS.... LOL!!

I drew these for the DS Snoopy/Pinnochio Challenge - they are puppets in one of the Pinocchio scenes who i thought were just gorgeous!!

Kseniya Simonova - Sand Animator

I have just stumbled over this artist - the winner of "Ukraine's Got Talent"

She is fanominal.

According to Wikipedia :
Kseniya Simonova (born 1985 as Ксения Симонова) is a sand animator from Ukraine. She started drawing with sand after her business collapsed due to the early 21st century credit crunch and had been drawing for less than a year when she entered Ukraine's Got Talent.^[1] She became the 2009 winner of that show,^[2] constructing an animation that portrayed life during the USSR's Great Patriotic War against the Third Reich in World War II.

2009 International Convention Of Jehovah's Witnesses

This was DEFINITELY the highlight of the year!! What a privilege it was to attend the 2009 International Convention with delegates from all around the world with an attendance of over 20 000 people.  We met amazing brothers and sisters who all shared the same love for one another and all because of our Great and Sovereign God Jehovah.

This weekend his friends came over and they all had a blast riding together... even I rode one of the smaller pit bikes and I think I may be addicted... I NEED ONE :) LOL

We always spoke about this day but i didn't think it would be here so quickly... here she is in her uniform - so cute!!

I have chosen the Giraffe theme - mainly because they are like my favorite animal and I used to collect them in any form, from toys to key rings to whatever may have a giraffe on it.

(I'm not crazy or physo or anything.... LOL)

Bella

This is my other baby - BELLA

She's turning 4 this year - she's a cross Cocker Spaniel and Pekinese

Most gorgeous doggie with such a loving personality.

This is her, absolutely sopping wet from running in the sprinkler!!

She's got so much hair that she gets VERY HOT and either walks into her water bowl or runs through the sprinkler.

My little Peppee

So my sister has given me her bird - Pepper - I have officially adopted her, she is so gorgeous.

She has a temper on her like no other, but I think that's a combination of her species and that she's a female - LOL

I took this pic of her the other day - I love the colours in the back and that expression that she has, she's so cute!!

She lifts her head like that when she wants to be patted and tickled and she makes this almost clicking sound that lets you know she wants to be loved.

Troy & Claudia's Engagement

What a fantastic evening from the Decor to the Food to the people who came.

Troy & Claudia looked grand and smiled the whole evening non-stop!

My dad hired the tables and chairs and my mom & Claudia & Aunty Cathy (Troy's Mom) made the food.

The evening ended well when Claudia opened all her gifts - they were really spoilt with all the things they received.

It was a nice evening with just family and long time family friends - Their were 25 people in total.

The Geese

Brandon has 4 geese on the plot, one male & 3 female.

Someone had told us that a male can only cover one female per season... BOY, was he wrong... all 3 females have had babies. (In total we had 18 little goslings running around and chirping away!)

They are absolutely gorgeous to sit and watch and to take photo's of.

We had a really terrible hail storm a couple of weeks back and it killed 3 babies (very sad day) we managed to catch one in time and I mommied it until it came right - it was honestly totally concussed!! It didn't come all together right because it has a bit of a side-ward walk... but it's ok and my favourite of the bunch!!

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of my little babies.... like I said, I could watch them all day!!

It's so sweet to watch them take their first swim in that water, so apprehensive... but afterwards they can't get enough. In the second picture they are enjoying some cabbage - Ah, creation is awe inspiring!!

Warm Baths

The family at Warm Baths in Bella Bella.

What a fantastic weekend, the sun was so hot and the water was beautiful.

We stayed in a gorgeous place where the buck and eland came and ate right at the door, we cycled, took long walks and just enjoyed nature.

The challets we stayed at had a heated pool where we spent all of our time.

Warm Baths resort was so nice, a bit over populated, but we still had a good time.

Can't wait to go back...
